What movie has stuck in your head well after you watched it? Why is it still renting space in your head?

Strange that Netflix in Germany is different than the US. But I guess that is what it is like in every country.

It is so frustrating Netflix in Germany doesn't offer that much horror movies or new movies at all. We get movies from January 2017 and if you want to watch Hulu it also doesn't work. I would love to see all the horror movies Netflix offers in the US

I believe the Void is still on Netflix, if you're subscribed to that. It's extremely light on character development, but the creatures are some of the best practical monsters I've seen in a long time. The film itself definitely feels like a giant love letter to classic horror.

Gerrett, haven't watched either of those flicks yet. To be honest, I don't think I have heard of The Void! Gotta check that out because I kinda dig Lovecraftian horror.

Dominik, I will be eventually getting to reviewing Get Out. I have the movie, just haven't sat down to watch it yet.

WAIT. I’m an idiot! Hereditary did genuinely freak me out. First movie in a long time where I felt a sense of danger throughout, like no moment in the movie was safe. I’m so glad I was able to see it in a mostly empty theater, because I felt like I was really in the hellish scenarios the film presented. It’s subtle, more suggestive nature was honestly way more terrifying than most modern horror flicks. Give me shapes in the shadows and a constant, looming presence over jump scares any day.

The Void really stuck with me. I’m currently reading a collection of Lovecraft short stories, and it felt very much like Lovecraft meets Carpenter and Barker in all the right ways. Very light on character background, but the grotesque creatures really stole the show. I don’t know if the movie really freaked me out, but it was certainly bleak, and perhaps even oppressive at times in its overall feeling of hopelessness.

Definitly Get Out if you want to call it a Psychological Horror movie. It is one of my favourites when it comes to movies. I watched it in a press preview and the plot is just awsome. The characters are interesting and the plot twist is awsome. If you haven't seen it check it out!
